Manufacturing

Maintaining technical leadership is a critical element of our continuing success.

We have heavily invested in new equipment to ensure we have the best machines available. We employ “lean” principals to all our processes so that our components are manufactured in the most efficient manner.

We have complete in-house capability for any CNC Lathe, Screw Machine, CNC Milling, or Brazing requirements for contacts, connector shells, and all types of mounting hardware.

We specialize in Iron Nickel Alloy, 52 Alloy, Stainless Steel, Titanium, Kovar, Monel, Aluminum, Inconel 600 & X-750, Brass, Beryllium Copper and Phosphorus Bronze and all other types of Copper Alloy materials.

Technical Leadership in Engineering

    Production Milling

We currently utilize 5 CNC Machining Centers in our production, including the CNC Pallet Changer shown below. All feature full 4 Axis machines, and are capable of 12,000 RPM spindle speed.

In addition to our standard milling operations, we have added EDM hole-drilling to our capabilities.

    Multi-Axis Turning

Our turning department utilizes a variety of multi-axis lathes, highlighted by two turning centers. Each are capable of 7-axis turning, allowing us to manufacture virtually any connector shell complete in a single operation with the greatest efficiency and closest tolerances possible.

Complementing our larger turning center is a variety of 4 and 5 axis lathes for both bar feed and secondary operations.

    Quality

All components are subject to AS9100 standards that include rigorous incoming, in process, and final inspection, incorporating one hundred percent visual inspection. Every order is subject to lot control, leak, pressure, and electrical testing.

All production shipments include a certificate of compliance and PPAP submission on initial qualifications.
